Establishing Roots
In the vibrant landscape of 1983, our journey began with a vision to bring innovation to the cork industry. Over the initial years, we navigated challenges and opportunities, laying a strong foundation for what was to come.
The turning point came in 1996 when we proudly joined CTCOR, signaling our deep commitment to research and development within the cork industry.


A Commitment to Excellence
As the years unfolded, our dedication to excellence became increasingly evident. In 2003, we embraced the rigorous testing procedures of the newly founded SACC, setting a higher standard for ourselves.
By 2007, we achieved ISO 9001:2000 compliance, a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality management systems. The year 2008 marked a significant move, both physically and metaphorically, as we transitioned to new premises in Brackenfell, embracing new horizons.


Milestones and Celebrations
A joyous celebration echoed in 2009 as we commemorated our 25th birthday, reflecting on a quarter-century of growth and accomplishments. The subsequent years saw us making strides in the industry, earning recognition as a Level 4 contributor in B-BBEE in 2010.
In 2013, we marked our pearl anniversary – 30 years of resilience, progress, and a legacy of excellence. The year 2014 brought further validation of our commitment with BRCGS certification for packaging and packaging materials.


Diversification and Innovation
Responding to the evolving needs of the industry, 2017 witnessed the emergence of Clear Crafts. Dedicated to serving the craft beer and spirit sector, Clear Crafts became the embodiment of our commitment to providing the finest glass bottles from around the globe.
The year 2018 marked an expansive phase, with the acquisition of a new warehouse in Paarl. Investments in an ERP system, a new delivery vehicle, and a strategic rebranding positioned us for transformative growth.


Continued Expansion
Our growth trajectory continued unabated in 2019 with the acquisition of a second site in Paarl, adjacent to our initial purchase in 2018. This strategic expansion reflected our commitment to meeting the rising demands of the industry.
In 2021, a significant move from Brackenfell to a larger facility in Paarl showcased our dedication to efficiency and progress. The investment in more delivery vehicles and the achievement of Level ONE contributor status in B-BBEE underscored our continuous commitment to excellence.
